Uniform Policy

G.T. WOODS UNIFORM POLICY

 

STUDENTS MUST BE IN COMPLETE UNIFORM DAILY. 

They earn credit towards PBIS activities for being in compliance. 

 

Pre-K & Kindergarten

Purple shirts with JPS or G.T. Woods logo visible, Navy blue school bottoms (Pants, knee-length school shorts or knee-length school skorts/skirts).

Pre-K and Kindergarten MUST wear tennis shoes with velcro straps.

 

1st - 5th

Hunter Green shirts with G.T. Woods logo visible, Navy blue school bottoms (Pants, knee-length school shorts or knee-length school skorts/skirts).

 

6th - 8th

Navy Blue shirts with G.T. Woods logo visible, Khaki school bottoms (Pants, knee-length school shorts or knee-length school skorts/skirts).

 

Uniform Shoes

ALL GRADE LEVEL shoe policy – Tennis Shoes ONLY.

Pre-K and Kindergarten MUST wear tennis shoes with velcro straps.

 

JEFFERSON PARISH SCHOOLS REQUIREMENTS:

Pre-K - 3rd Grade Students – Regular Backpack

4th  – 8th Grade Students – Clear Backpacks. Only clear, see-through tote bags, backpacks, or similar items will be permitted. MESH BAGS WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED.

 

NO HOODED JACKETS/SWEATSHIRTS ARE ALLOWED.

Jackets/Sweatshirts CAN NOT HAVE A HOOD and must zip or button all the way and remain open while at school.
